H4NDS DUO: Four – hand Piano
Long-time friends, Portuguese pianists António Luís Silva and Tiago Nunes, will be performing at the Zefirya Cultural Center with their H4NDS DUO project, developed during the 2019 pandemic period. As a defiance against the restrictions of the pandemic, their project features works by composers from various geographies, focusing on the idea of overcoming limitations and boundaries through music. The duo will be performing four-hand piano pieces from their album of the same name, H4NDS DUO, which features compositions by Schubert, Grieg, Dvořák, and Gluck. The geographical diversity of these composers serves as a tribute to the resilience of those whose freedoms have been restricted.
