Chopin Evening with Caroline Sageman

‘’Difficult, when one meets Caroline Sageman, to forget what a child prodigy she was; her unchanged gaze betrays her. A determined look that has always revealed the same truth: Caroline Sageman did not learn music; she was born into it.’’

The French pianist Caroline Sageman, who has earned a unique place in the world of classical music, will be performing for the first time in Turkey at the 21st Gümüşlük Music Festival. Additionally, from July 21-30, Sageman will be teaching ten young piano students in the Piano I Masterclass program of the Gümüşlük Festival Academy.

Educated at home, she grew up amidst Chopin’s waltzes by Rubinstein, making her first major breakthrough at the age of nine at the Salle Pleyel in Paris.   Later she would cross  paths with Claudio Arrau, Germaine Mounier Milosz Magin, Hubert Guillard and Merces De Silva Telles.

In her concert program, she will present a selection of Chopin’s compositions.

Sageman will share her passion for the depths of this music with the audience in this special concert.
