“Exciting and Refined Musician”
Lorenzo Di Bella, hailed as “a talented pianist, a brilliant virtuoso, an exciting and refined musician” by a Russian pianist he mentored for three years, will grace the stage at the Ancient Stone Quarry as part of the Gümüşlük Music Festival. The concert program will feature works by composers such as Bach, Leveque, Chopin, Schubert, and Liszt.
Starting his piano studies at age five, Di Bella has garnered awards in numerous international piano competitions. In 2005, he achieved first prize and a gold medal at the “V. Horowitz” International Piano Competition in Kiev. His prolific career includes collaborations with many orchestras worldwide.
Currently serving as principal piano professor at the G.Braga Higher School of Music in Teramo, Di Bella is also the artistic director of the Accademia Pianistica delle Marche in Recanati, Italy. He has founded and directs the Civitanova Classica Piano Festival, the Mugellini Music Festival, and the La Palma d’Oro International Piano Competition in San Benedetto del Tronto, Italy.
