Schumann, Fauré, and Ravel with Olivier Moulin
Praised by The Washington Post as a “young artist displaying maturity and elegance,” French pianist Olivier Moulin will perform a solo recital at this year’s festival. He will present the first concert of August at the Ancient Stone Quarry, featuring compositions by Schumann, Fauré, and Ravel.
Olivier Moulin, who serves as a piano professor at the Nancy Conservatory and is the president of the Epinal International Piano Competition, regularly conducts masterclasses across Europe, the USA, Mexico, Japan, and China. This year, Moulin will also teach in the Gümüşlük Festival Academy Piano II Masterclass program. He is a jury member for many prestigious international piano competitions, including the Scriabin and Sviatoslav Richter International Piano Competitions in Istanbul, Porto Santa Cecilia, and Grosseto.
