Classical to Impressionist Music at the Ancient Stone Quarry
Russian cellist Pavel Gomziakov and Portuguese pianist Adriano Jordao will grace the Ancient Stone Quarry stage with a concert featuring compositions by Liszt, Schubert, Fauré, and Debussy, a program spanning from the classical to the impressionist periods.
Pavel Gomziakov, who embarked on his cello journey at age nine, performs extensively across Europe, South America, and Japan. He is celebrated as both a soloist with numerous orchestras worldwide and a sought-after chamber musician.
Joining Gomziakov, Adriano Jordao has garnered acclaim in Portugal and internationally, including winning the first prize at the Debussy International Competition in France. He is renowned for his performances worldwide and serves as the artistic director of prestigious festivals such as the Macao International Music Festival, Casa de Mateus Festival, Azores Festival, and Sintra Music Festival.
